1. About these terms

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between The Online Gym ("we", "us", "our") and any client ("you") who joins our coaching or fitness services.

By signing up or booking a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Health & safety

• Complete the health questionnaire (PAR-Q) before starting any programme, and tell your coach about any condition or injury that affects your training.
• Our advice is based on the information you provide. If you have any medical concerns, please speak to your GP before beginning a new programme.

3. Memberships & payments

• Plans are billed as shown at sign-up, typically recurring monthly, by card or Direct Debit.
• Prices are confirmed at sign-up. We will give you notice of any future price change.
• If a payment fails, sessions may be paused until the account is up to date.

4. Sessions & bookings

• Sessions are booked through your coach or our booking platform.
• Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a session. Late cancellations and no-shows may forfeit the session.

5. Cancellation & refunds

• Online sign-ups have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
• After the cooling-off period, you can cancel your plan per the terms shown at sign-up, with notice. Unused recurring payments are not refundable unless required by law.

6. Our liability

• Exercise carries inherent risk. Please follow your coach's instructions and do not push through pain.
• We are not liable for injury sustained where our instructions have not been followed or where inaccurate health information was given.
• Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other matter that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

7. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
